Broad bowled to ten Doeschate. Played to Broad and went for a single. Broad missed the run out opportunity.
Second ball was also a run out opportunity. Broad dives to the stump and in the force the ball is released from the hand he knocks the stump with the hands.
4 balls, 5 runs. Catch was dropped and one run given away. 3 balls, 4 runs. Schiferli misses the ball and it goes to keeper, but they run a bye.
2 balls, 3 runs. Single to mid on by ten Doeschate.
Last ball, 2 runs. Broad collects the ball on the follow through. Has clear vision of all the three stumps, but misses it. Netherlands run for the over throw and reach the target.
Earlier, England started well with a hundred-run partnership for the first wicket. Bopara started the tournament with a boundary off Nannes. He was the first batsmen to be dismissed, caught by Seelaar off ten Doeschate.
LJ Wright scored the first fifty of the tournament. He scored 71 in 49 balls with 8 fours. The unusual thing was that no England batsmen scored a six. Englanded ended with 162 for 5 in 20 overs.

Though Netherlands start was shaky, de Grooth and Borren's 50-run partnership for the 4th wicket turned the match. Kervezee was caught in the first over for 1.
Reekers hit couple of sixes but did not stay long. Grooth missed half-century by one run. He was awarded man of the match for his wonderful innings.
Poor fielding by England team helped Netherlands to gain 2 points! They missed lot of run out opportunities, especially in the last over.
England have to beat Pakistan to stay in the tournament. They play on Sunday June 7, 2009.
