NZ but Scotland into bat. Watson scored 27 off just 10 balls to give a wonderful start to the innings. He scored 27 off the 30-run partnership for the 1st wicket.
The other opener Poonia also made 27 but in 15 balls as he added 59 for the 2nd wicket with Coetzer. Scotland was playing like an experienced side, especially against the NZ.
Coetzer top scored with 33 in 15 balls which had 3 fours and 2 sixes. Scotland ended with 89 in 7 overs. Butler picked 3 wickets for New Zealand.
McCullum, the skipper started well as he scored 18 off 7 balls which had 4 fours. Ryder top scored with 31 in 12 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. New Zealand were never under threat as they easily cruised to the victory line.
Butler was given man of the match for his 3 wickets.
